Mr. Fields volunteers at North Florida Educational Institute as an assistant basketball coach. Before North Florida Educational Institute, he worked in the public school arena as an educator, coach and principal over his 39 year profession. He received a Masters of Education from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and received his B. A. in Education from Birmingham Southern College. He is an advocate of giving young athletes a positive, character-building experience. Coach Fields has more than 11 years of experience coaching basketball at the college level. He has coached at Florida A & M University and at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. At North Florida Educational Institute, he provides assistance with athletic conditioning, weight training and provides guidance to the other coaches. He is an advocate of giving young athletes a positive, character-building experience.
