Ms. Mildred Wootson was a Supervisor of the Records Department for the City of Jacksonville. She began work in September 1978 and was with the city for over 38 years when she retired in 2010. Her role with the city was to handle records, various official documents, calculate fees and taxes and collect fees for state and individual reports. She also worked with the Auctions Section of the Records Department. When she retired, she had been the supervisor of the department for 32 years. Prior to her retirement she had volunteered with North Florida Educational Institute where she assisted with record keeping. Her hobbies include crocheting and puzzles. She has a son, a daughter and two grandsons.
